Privacy policy
Last updated: June 7, 2026
IMINTA (“IMINTA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) runs imintalenses.com and takes the privacy of the people who shop with us seriously. This notice sets out the personal information we gather, the reasons we use it, the safeguards we apply, and the choices and rights you have. Placing an order or using our site means you accept the practices outlined here. Questions can be directed to iminta.cs@hotmail.com at any time.
1. What We Collect
Details you give us directly
- Identity and delivery details — your name, email address, telephone number, and billing and shipping addresses
- Payment details — card or PayPal information, which is handled securely by our payment partners (see Section 3); we never see or keep your complete card number
- Purchase records — the items you buy, order dates, amounts, and any returns or exchanges
- Messages — emails or texts you send us, including support, return, and warranty requests
- Newsletter sign-up — your email address, only if you choose to subscribe
Information gathered automatically
- Usage data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, pages viewed, time on page, referring address, and links you click
- Device data — device category, screen resolution, and language preference
- Cookies and similar technologies — described in Section 4
2. Why We Use It
Your personal information helps us to:
- Process, fulfill, and deliver the orders you place
- Send confirmations, dispatch notices, and tracking updates
- Manage returns, exchanges, and warranty claims
- Answer your questions and resolve any complaints
- Identify, look into, and prevent fraud or misuse
- Study and refine our website, products, and overall shopping experience
- Send promotions and product news — only where you have opted in, and you can opt out whenever you like
- Meet our legal and regulatory obligations
We do not subject your information to automated decision-making or profiling that has a legal or similarly significant impact on you.
3. When We Share It
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We pass it only to the service providers we rely on to run the business, and only as far as is necessary:
- Shopify Inc. — the e-commerce platform that hosts our store, runs checkout, and stores order data for us. Refer to Shopify's own privacy policy for details.
- Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe) and PayPal — the processors that handle card and alternative payments. Both hold PCI-DSS Level 1 certification, and your payment credentials are managed by them directly rather than stored on our systems.
- Delivery carriers — USPS and other carriers receive your name and delivery address so they can complete the shipment. Carriers may keep delivery records under their own policies.
- Analytics services — we may rely on tools such as Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. These collect aggregated, anonymized data through cookies; see Google's privacy policy, and you can opt out using Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Email platforms — if you subscribe, your email address is held by Shopify Email or our email provider and used only to send the messages you asked for.
We may also release information where the law, a subpoena, a court order, or a government authority requires it, or where doing so is needed to protect the rights, safety, or property of IMINTA or its customers.
4. Cookies and Tracking
Our site uses cookies — small text files saved in your browser — together with related technologies to power core features and measure how the site is used.
- Essential cookies: needed for the cart, checkout, and account areas to work; turning them off will break parts of the site.
- Analytics cookies: help us see which pages are visited and how people move through the store; the resulting data is aggregated and anonymized (for example, Google Analytics).
- Functional cookies: remember preferences such as currency or language to make your visit smoother.
- Marketing cookies: may be set by third-party advertising partners if you have opted into marketing, allowing relevant ads to appear on other sites you browse.
You can adjust cookie settings through your browser at any time, though disabling essential cookies will affect the cart and checkout. To learn more about cookies and how to control them, visit allaboutcookies.org.
5. Keeping Your Data Secure
We apply recognized security practices to protect your personal information:
- Traffic between your browser and our site is encrypted with SSL/TLS (HTTPS).
- Payment data is handled by PCI-DSS compliant processors and is never stored on our servers.
- Access to customer data is limited to authorized staff who have a genuine business reason to use it.
No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure. If a breach ever occurs that poses a high risk to your rights, we will notify those affected as the law requires, without undue delay.
6. How Long We Keep It
- Order records: held for 7 years to satisfy tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs.
- Support correspondence: held for 2 years.
- Marketing preferences: held until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
You may ask us to delete your personal data at any time (subject to any legal retention duties) by emailing iminta.cs@hotmail.com.
7. Children's Privacy
Our store is not aimed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly gather personal information from them. If you think a child has provided us with such information, please contact iminta.cs@hotmail.com and we will remove it promptly.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Everyone
- Opt out of marketing email at any point through the unsubscribe link or by writing to iminta.cs@hotmail.com
- Ask to see the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your personal data, subject to any legal retention duties
Residents of the EU / EEA — GDPR
If you live in the European Union or European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation grants you the rights to access your data (Art. 15), to have it corrected (Art. 16), to have it erased (Art. 17), to restrict how it is processed (Art. 18), to receive it in a portable format (Art. 20), to object to processing (Art. 21), and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it (Art. 7). To act on any of these, email iminta.cs@hotmail.com with “GDPR Request” in the subject line and we'll respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Residents of California — CCPA / CPRA
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected and how it is used and shared, to request its deletion, to request corrections, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither), to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we use it only to fulfill your order), and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. To make a request, email iminta.cs@hotmail.com with “California Privacy Request” in the subject line.
9. Links to Other Sites
Our pages may link to outside websites such as YouTube, social networks, or review sites. We have no control over and are not responsible for their privacy practices, so we suggest reviewing their policies before sharing any personal information with them.
10. Do Not Track
Certain browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no agreed industry standard for responding to these signals, our site does not currently change its data collection in response to them. You can still limit tracking through the cookie controls described in Section 4.
11. Updates to This Notice
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we update the “last updated” date above, and for major changes we provide a more visible notice. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
