How to Choose and Install Replacement Lenses for Your Sunglasses

Scratched, faded, or just want a fresh look? You don't need a new pair of sunglasses — you need new lenses. Here's how to choose the right IMINTA replacement lenses and install them yourself.

Step 1 — Confirm your exact frame

Replacement lenses are cut to fit a specific frame. Find your model name (often printed on the inside of the temple arm) and match it on our site. Each product page has a Fit Guide with the model codes and lens width so you can be sure before you order.

Step 2 — Pick your lens color and material

  • Color / tint — from everyday black and brown to mirrored finishes, clear, and adaptive photochromic options.
  • Polarized or non-polarized — see our polarized vs. non-polarized guide.
  • UpgradesFortivue™ for maximum impact and scratch resistance, or Claritec™ inner-surface anti-reflective coating.

Step 3 — Install in minutes

  1. Wash and dry your hands, and work over a soft surface.
  2. Gently push the old lens out from the inside of the frame, starting at a corner.
  3. Line up the new lens and press it into the groove, one edge at a time, until it seats fully around the frame.
  4. Check that the lens sits flush all the way around. That's it.

Every product page links a model-specific installation video, and our lenses are backed by free U.S. shipping, 60-day returns and a 1-year warranty. Browse replacement lenses →
